This page is to offer public thanks to God for His many good gifts and an acknowledgement of those who allowed God to use them to provide for our ministry needs. 3/31/2007 THANK YOU: Thanks to a wonderful crew from 1st Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, TN who conducted a medical clinic, a clothing giveaway and accomplished many tasks on our ministry campus today including sorting & organizing clothing in the storage trailer, assembling new pic-nic tables, sowing and mulching grass on a slope with erosion problems, planting early crops in the Community Garden, painting signs, burning brush and cleaning in the yard.

11/8/2006 THANK YOU: Jim McFall (Pine Eden Church, Crossville) for sharing his visiting Jamaican friend, Pastor Burnett, with us for a special Wednesday worship time. Pastor Burnett is the Senior pastor of Duheney Pen and Johnstown churches in St. Thomas parish, Jamaica, as well as being the supervising pastor over 9 other congregations and a Christian school. He is also a local magistrate. Pastor Burnett is visiting in Sparta for a short time of retreat and refreshing.

It is envisioned to be comprised of a large apartment for live in 'house parents' and three efficiency apartments for those who need some level of supervision in getting out on their own.

7/31/2005 THANK YOU: John Dawson of Dawson Ridge Designs has done some technical drawings for us with ideas on expanding the worship space, a site map and design work for a handicap ramp. John, Helyn and family have been actively engaged in worship and service with us for a couple of months.

6/7/2005 THANK YOU: We were given an opportunity to share portions of the Neverfail Church story with the Tuesday Morning WMU of 1st Baptist Chattanooga. Each time we share the story, we trust that God is honored and our continuing passion for the work God has given us is increased. (It is also a nice change of pace for pastors Emily and Eliot to get to spend some time alone together while traveling . . . although at times it seems a lot like a staff meeting!)
6/3/2005 THANK YOU: A check for $ 350 was given to us from TCBF partners who had taken up special offerings for the ministries of Neverfail Church. Included in that amount were gifts from the Cotey Sunday School Class via Polly Tidwell of Rickvale, TN; from David Shelby of Knoxville; and from the Young Married Adult SS Class via Stephanie Stump of Murfreesboro. We also picked up a television set and many more boxes of treasures which enable us to reach into our community with the Gospel message of love and hope.
5/24/2005 THANK YOU: First Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, TN has partnered with Neverfail Church on numerous occasions and in different ways. Most recently, on May 24th three young men from that congregation drove an SUV pulling a long trailer filled with household items which they donated to our ministry. We will distribute these items to families in need in our community (especially those who have lost everything in house fires) and use the opportunities to share with our neighbors our hope and trust in our all sufficient savior Jesus Christ. Many thanks to those at FBC Murfreesboro for your continuing help to our ministries and our community. May God continue to bless your richly for your generosity and compassion towards us.
3/2005 THANK YOU: Through TCBF contacts in Chattanooga, a used Compaq Armada M700 with a Pentium III 450 processor, 320MB RAM and a 6 GB hard drive was given to us. We have taken it on mission to Jamaica where we were able to share a pictures from our work in Tennessee with the church we served. We were also able to begin construction of our PowerPoint program on the Jamaica trip while we were in Jamaica. The lap top is being made available to a social worker in our community to do in-home parent enrichment teaching. Through the same TCBF contact, we were also given a used Compaq Deskpro EN with a Pentium III 867 processor. That is being put to work for church administration, etc. on pastor Emily's desk.
